What's new
Updated · Sources
Each change that affects a date, an amount, a settlement's status or a tool is listed here with its date, newest first. The day each fact was last checked is shown beside it on its own page.
: deadline wording, weekends and look-alike addresses
- The deadline planner offers two more ways a notice words a deadline: "online or received", as in the RealPage notice, and "filed with the court or postmarked", as in the Equifax notice. When a date you type falls on a Saturday, a Sunday or a federal legal holiday, it now says so and keeps the date as printed, because the federal rule that carries a deadline past a weekend applies to periods counted in days or hours, not to a fixed date. Its note on mail time now gives the formal limit within the 48 contiguous states, 5 service days at most, and its note for a passed date only says where to look.
- Status boxes now show the time of day a notice gives for a claim deadline (RealPage and CVS), word the RealPage deadline as the notice does ("submitted online or received by"), and use the same status label before and after the page loads. The Amazon Prime page says "Last day to submit a claim form: July 27, 2026", in line with the court order. On the no-proof list, the Skin360 deadline shows both ways its notice words it and the stricter one.
- The options helper treats an answer of "Not sure" the same way for every option, and no longer shows doing nothing as a full match when you want to object.
- The notice check matches an address on a shared storage host only when it is the exact address we list, and treats an encoded address that decodes to plain letters as unreadable. The case lookup now reads case numbers with a one-letter judge suffix or case type, and numbers followed by words in parentheses.
: share controls and quick answers
- The home page and every guide, list, settlement, administrator and tool page now have a way to send them to someone: a Share button, an Email link and a Copy link. The options helper, the deadline planner, the notice check and the case lookup can also copy your result as plain text, and the first three can make a link to your result. That link carries only the answers you picked and the dates you entered, never an address or a name you typed, and it's written after the # sign, which your browser never sends to us.
- The Verita Global and Amazon Prime FTC refunds pages now have a short Quick answers section for the questions people search for most.
: RealPage final approval
- The RealPage rent settlement received final approval on October 15, 2026, the day of the fairness hearing. The page now cites the final approval order and judgment, the injunction order that defines the Effective Date, and the order awarding attorneys' fees of $119,975,000 and expenses. The plan of allocation, approved the same day, sets a $10 minimum distribution. The claim deadline of January 29, 2027 is unchanged; the status stays open, and the official site still says there will be no payments at this time.
- On the Epiq page, the latest docket entry read in the settlement-administration MDL is now the court's memorandum opinion and order of October 5, 2026 on the defendants' discovery obligations (previously the status conference of September 23, 2026).
- Every other date, amount and domain on the site was re-read in its source this week.
: weekly review
- The domain evolvesettlement.com was removed from the Kroll list of known settlement sites: it is no longer on Kroll's active case list and the domain no longer resolves. It will be listed again only if it can be verified again.
- Every other date, amount and domain on the site was re-read in its source this week; nothing else changed.
